Our History

DAL-CO Marine Services was founded to provide the safe, reliable and quality transportation of people, goods, and services on the Mississippi River.

We are a division of DAL-CO, LLC, a leading construction, and vital-services firm founded in 1998. DAL-CO, LLC provides quality, comprehensive, and integrated marine, construction, land management, environmental, oil & gas, and logistical services to governmental and private sector clients throughout the Gulf Coast region.

Projects of Note

DAL-CO, LLC assisted in the cleanup efforts for the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, teaming with BP and disaster response organizations including Oil Mop, ES&H, and the U. S. Coast Guard. We mobilized, set up, de-mobilized, and de-commissioned vital services including nearly 100 boats with various crews to deploy oil booms used to contain the spill.

As a key subcontractor in the East Baton Rouge Downtown Signalization Project, DAL-CO, LLC worked with the city-parish government to upgrade traffic signals and communications at 29 intersections in downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

DAL-CO, LLC played a vital role in the deployment of a 100-mile leg of fiber-optic telecommunications services for Louisiana’s High-Speed Information Access for All Communities initiative.
